ASHEPA Appoints Mr. Mohamed Amine Zahr as Country Representative for Morocco
The African Safety, Health and Environment Professional Association (ASHEPA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mohamed Amine Zahr as ASHEPA Country Representative for Morocco.
In this volunteer leadership role, Mr. Zahr will support ASHEPA’s mission to strengthen Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) practice in Morocco by promoting professional collaboration, supporting national stakeholder engagement, advancing workplace safety culture, and championing sustainable, climate-responsible solutions aligned with international best practice.
About Mr. Mohamed Amine Zahr
Mr. Mohamed Amine Zahr is a senior QHSSE professional with extensive international experience across large-scale energy and infrastructure projects including renewable major energy projects.
In his leadership role, Mr. Zahr has played a key part in embedding international HSSE standards and ESG performance frameworks into renewable energy portfolio. He has successfully led multiple certification projects, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001, working closely with international lenders and development partners with EPC contractors from diverse backgrounds
Beyond his technical leadership, Mr. Zahr is an active trainer and speaker on HSSE culture, workplace well-being, and sustainable leadership. He contributes to major international publications, promotes stakeholder engagement and social dialogue, and is a strong advocate for safety and environmental stewardship in North Africa. He is multilingual, speaking Arabic, French, English, and Spanish.
