ASHEPA Appoints Dr. Marykathleen Agbornawbi Tambeayuk as Central Africa Representative
African Safety, Health and Environment Professional Association (ASHEPA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Marykathleen Agbornawbi Tambeayuk as ASHEPA Central Africa Representative.
In this volunteer leadership role, Dr. Tambeayuk will support ASHEPA’s mission of strengthening Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) practice across Central Africa by promoting professional collaboration, supporting regional engagement, advancing environmental stewardship, and championing sustainable and safety-centered solutions across diverse industries and institutions.
About Dr. Marykathleen Agbornawbi Tambeayuk
Dr. Marykathleen Agbornawbi Tambeayuk is a highly accomplished environmental professional from Cameroon, with a PhD in Environmental Management and a strong passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship. Her expertise spans environmental impact assessments, waste management, circular economy, and occupational health and safety, with proven results across sectors including ports, construction, and education.
She brings a unique blend of academic rigor and practical experience, having supported and led environmental and sustainability initiatives with prominent organizations
A published researcher, Dr. Tambeayuk has contributed to knowledge on sustainable waste management, including research exploring black soldier fly larvae as a viable alternative to chemical fertilizers. Fluent in English and French, she is recognized for strong stakeholder engagement, project management capability, and team leadership. Her work has taken her across Africa, collaborating with international organizations and universities to drive sustainability and environmental improvement initiatives.
