African Safety, Health and Environment Professional Association (ASHEPA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Boniphace Tairo as ASHEPA Country Representative for Tanzania.

In this volunteer leadership role, Mr. Tairo will support ASHEPA’s mission to strengthen Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) practice in Tanzania by promoting professional engagement, building collaboration with stakeholders, and advancing workplace safety culture and environmental stewardship aligned with international best practice.

About Mr. Boniphace Tairo

Mr. Boniphace Tairo is a seasoned Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) professional with vast experience supporting and strengthening QHSE performance across Africa. He is widely recognized for leading high-impact safety initiatives, embedding effective management systems, and driving operational excellence across diverse project environments.

With broad experience across the telecommunications, forestry, industrial, laboratory, construction, and environmental sectors, Mr. Tairo brings a practical, results-driven approach to implementing integrated management systems, strengthening safety culture, and ensuring compliance with legal, client, and international standards. He is known for his collaborative leadership style and his ability to translate complex requirements into effective and sustainable operational practice.
