African Safety, Health and Environment Professional Association (ASHEPA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Proceed Sibanda as ASHEPA Country Representative for Zimbabwe.

In this volunteer leadership role, Mr. Sibanda will support ASHEPA’s mission to strengthen Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) practice in Zimbabwe by promoting professional collaboration, strengthening stakeholder engagement, advancing workplace safety culture, and supporting innovative, resilient approaches that respond to both physical and digital risk environments.

About Mr. Proceed Sibanda

Mr. Proceed Sibanda is a Strategic Systems Professional recognized for integrating Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity into traditional EHSQ frameworks—helping organizations modernize risk governance and improve resilience.

Mr. Sibanda’s professional portfolio includes advanced certifications across multiple standards and disciplines, including ISO 9001 (Senior Lead Auditor), ISO 45001, ISO 31000 (Lead Risk Manager), ISO 42001 (Artificial Intelligence Management Systems), ISO 21502 (Project Management), SOC 2 (Analyst), and ISO 27001 (Information Security). He is also a seasoned EIA, ESG, and Audit expert, supporting governance, sustainability, and compliance across complex operational environments.

With over eight and extensive years of experience, Mr. Sibanda has developed and audited management systems across the SADC region, working in sectors including Oil & Gas, Industrial Automation & Technology, Industrial Manufacturing, and Mining & Rock Excavation. He brings a distinctive strength in merging ESG sustainability reporting with cyber and data protection compliance, helping organizations drive performance while ensuring continuity, trust, and regulatory alignment.
