African Safety, Health and Environment Professional Association (ASHEPA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Philemon Olusegun as ASHEPA Diaspora Representative for United Kingdom.

In this volunteer leadership role, Mr. Olusegun will support ASHEPA’s mission by strengthening engagement with African SHE professionals and partners in the United Kingdom. He will help promote professional collaboration, support membership growth and networking, and create stronger links between diaspora practitioners and ASHEPA’s initiatives across Africa, advancing Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) excellence through knowledge-sharing and best practice.

About Mr. Philemon Olusegun

Philemon Olusegun is a distinguished Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) professional with over extensive years of experience spanning client-facing roles, consulting, principal contractor leadership, and specialist contractor responsibilities. With more than a decade leading high-performing H&S teams across continents, he is recognized for delivering safe, compliant, and high-impact outcomes on complex global projects bringing strong technical expertise, transformative leadership, and a deep commitment to advancing safety culture in diverse operational environments.

Mr. Olusegun’s career includes notable achievements across the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and Africa. He is also an ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor, with extensive experience developing management systems, securing ISO certifications, and strengthening regulatory compliance frameworks.

A committed member of leading professional bodies. He continues to champion excellence, continuous improvement, and industry best practice. His contributions have also received international recognition, including being shortlisted for the African Safety Award for Excellence reflecting his leadership, resilience, and professional representation on the global stage.
