ASHEPA Appoints Mr. Twite Mwilambwe Pascal as Country Representative for Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)

African Safety, Health and Environment Professional Association (ASHEPA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Twite Mwilambwe Pascal as ASHEPA Country Representative for the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

 

In this volunteer leadership role, Mr. Pascal will support ASHEPA’s mission to strengthen Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) practice in the DRC by promoting professional collaboration, supporting national stakeholder engagement, advancing workplace safety culture, and encouraging the adoption of practical, standards-aligned approaches that improve performance across high-risk industries.

 

About Mr. Twite Mwilambwe Pascal

Mr. Twite Mwilambwe Pascal is a Certified Safety Professional with extensive years of progressive experience across Safety, Health, Environmental, Social, Quality, Security, and Training Management Systems. He has developed strong capability in navigating the complex challenges associated with high-risk operational environments, including open-pit mining, drilling and blasting, civil construction, earthmoving and drilling operations, and specialized technical works such as electrical, control and instrumentation, structural, mechanical, and plant works operations.

 

With a diverse industry background, Mr. Pascal brings a holistic understanding of risk management and operational safety dynamics. He is experienced in developing and implementing effective and sustainable safety strategies that are practical, field-oriented, and suited to challenging project environments.

 

Mr. Pascal is deeply committed to the principle of Zero Harm, a philosophy that guides his work in building proactive safety culture and strengthening organizational resilience. His experience includes supporting incident investigations, developing safety management systems, facilitating training and awareness programs, and mentoring teams to improve performance and empower workers at all levels to work safely.
