Each year, ASHEPA recognizes individuals and member communities whose efforts have advanced professional excellence and contributed to safer, stronger, and more resilient workplaces.
Our awards not only honor achievement, but also highlight the positive impact of leadership, innovation, service, and collaboration within the profession. Receiving an ASHEPA award is both a personal distinction and a professional milestone.
The Honor of Fellow is ASHEPA’s most prestigious distinction. It recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment, outstanding achievement, and distinguished leadership in the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) profession.
This honor is reserved for professionals whose contributions have significantly advanced the profession and whose influence has had a lasting impact on workplace safety, occupational health, environmental stewardship, and professional practice.

ASHEPA encourages members and communities to participate in the Awards & Honors program by submitting nominations and applications for deserving individuals and groups. Recognizing achievement not only honors those who lead by example, but also strengthens the profession as a whole.
Membership fees are payable upon admission and must be renewed annually from 1 January each year, regardless of the date of joining. This means that all memberships run on a common annual renewal cycle beginning on 1 January. Members are encouraged to ensure that their subscription is paid on time to maintain active membership status and continue enjoying the benefits of Association membership.
